There have been rumors for some time that Obsidian Entertainment had abandoned work on Sega's Aliens RPG.
Today, these were confirmed on a forum posting from an administrator on Obsidian's website stating,
"..it is true that we are no longer working on the game, and we wanted to finally announce that officially to everyone who has been following its development."
Sega has also confirmed this, with an official statement:
"At this point, SEGA has no plans to move forward with the Aliens RPG."
The game was announced in 2006, but never had a public showing.
