Whilst fans worry over whether or not the next Zelda Wii title will even make a 2010 release, legendary designer Shigeru Miyamoto did have some good news for those anticipating the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Miyamoto has ensured gamers that the follow up to Super Mario Galaxy is nearing completion:
"We're in the middle of finalising the game, the ideas that we've created, and almost entirely new courses for Super Mario Galaxy 2. Of course we've added some new abilities for Mario. And the goal is to take the system and the gameplay of the original Super Mario Galaxy and turn it into something that's a little more expanded and offers a great deal of challenge for people that enjoyed that first game."
Sounds like Super Mario Galaxy 2 is well on its way for a 2010 release window. Other 2010 Nintendo releases may include Metroid: Other M and the return of Golden Sun to the Nintendo DS. We'll keep you posted on all those titles and more in the future.
